Sisaket province: The Thai Army condemned Cambodia for firing a BM-21 rocket into a civilian area in Kantaralak District, Sisaket Province, resulting in injuries to four civilians. The Royal Thai Army reported that the incident occurred in the Saothongchai Subdistrict, where the rocket attack severely disrupted peace and safety.
According to Thai News Agency, the attack led to serious injuries for two civilians who were seeking shelter. They suffered from shrapnel wounds, including a fractured right arm and head injuries causing brain hemorrhage. The injured were swiftly transported to Benjalak Hospital in Sisaket Province for medical treatment, facilitated by coordinated efforts between the army, local administrative, and public health authorities.
Two other individuals sustained shrapnel wounds to their necks and experienced head swelling. They were immediately taken to Sriratana Hospital for emergency care. The Royal Thai Army has issued a strong condemnation of the Cambodian military’s actions on international platforms, emphasizing that such attacks violate human rights and international humanitarian law. The army highlighted that targeting civilian areas unrelated to military operations directly endangers innocent lives and property.
