According to Thai News Agency, in Khon Kaen, vendors in almost every market benefited, while in Chiang Mai, the "Thai Helps Thai Plus" campaign saw packed restaurants, including barbecue restaurants. In Bangkok, the Ministry of Finance's market experienced a similar surge in spending following the long weekend. The total spending on the first day nationwide exceeded 2 billion baht, with nearly 9 million people utilizing the benefits.
