Thai Oil Shareholders Approve 1.90 Baht Per Share Dividend for 2024

Bangkok: Thai Oil Public Company Limited conducted its 2025 annual general shareholders’ meeting, focusing on its 2024 operating results and outlining strategies for 2025. The shareholders approved a dividend payment of 1.90 baht per share for 2024. After accounting for an interim dividend of 1.20 baht per share, the remaining dividend for the last six months will be 0.70 baht per share.

According to Thai News Agency, the company highlighted its efficient business operations in 2024, emphasizing proactive planning and risk management strategies to navigate global economic challenges. Key achievements included integrated management across the value chain, optimizing crude oil sourcing, and maintaining a high utilization rate of 111.5%.

Thai Oil is advancing its strategic long-term projects, including the clean energy initiative, completing the construction of a diesel quality improvement unit, and successfully testing Euro 5 standard diesel production. The company expanded its market reach by opening a warehouse in Haiphong City, Vietnam, and enhancing its chemical business group, preparing for future growth.

The company focused on organizational efficiency through technology, implementing systems for product order management, receiving products at oil stations, and AI-based equipment quality analysis at refineries.

Thai Oil emphasized human resource development by fostering knowledge, skills, and a positive work culture, aligning with the “Happy People, Successful Work” philosophy. This approach earned recognition as “Best Places to Work” in Thailand by Work Venture Technologies Co., Ltd.

Strategic financial moves included repurchasing US dollar bonds below market value, boosting profits by 1,134 million baht in 2024. The company adheres to the ESG framework, achieving certification from the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for 12 consecutive years and receiving ‘Excellent’ corporate governance scores for 16 years.
