Nonthaburi: The Thai women's national volleyball team, along with team officials and executives from the Volleyball Association of Thailand, received a vase of flowers and other gifts from His Majesty the King in front of his portrait. This event was a token of encouragement and support following their fourth Asian Women's Volleyball Championship title and historic qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA. According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony took place on September 3, 2026, and was organized by Jasmine International Public Company Limited and Mono Next Public Company Limited. As part of a project to promote sports for national development under the royal patronage, flower vases, gifts, and cloth bags were presented to the volleyball team, coaching staff, and executives at Mono Studio, Chaiyapruek Road, Nonthaburi Province. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, through Lieutenant General Thanpuying Oranong Piyanat Wachiraphat, Chairperson of the Advisory Committee fo r the National Sports Promotion Project under Royal Patronage, assigned Air Chief Marshal Prachya Phromburom to preside over the ceremony. Dr. Sorach Asavaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine International, and Mr. Nawamin Prasobnet, Chief Executive Officer of Mono Next, were also in attendance. Receiving this royal encouragement has brought immense joy and instilled a profound sense of gratitude in the athletes, team officials, and association executives.
