Thai Women’s Volleyball Team Prepares to Face Serbia in Nations League Opener

Nanjing: The Thai women's volleyball team is set to face Serbia in the opening match of the 2026 Women's Nations League in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. The match is scheduled to take place this afternoon at 2:00 PM.

According to Thai News Agency, the team's head coach, "Coach Ott" Kiatipong Ratchatagriangrai, highlighted the significance of strong serving and receiving skills for the upcoming match. He confirmed that the team is in good health, with no injuries reported, and all players are prepared for the competition. The 14-player squad for the match includes setters Pornpun Guedparach, who is also the team captain, and Natthanicha Jaisan.

The team composition features liberos Piyanut Paennoy and Kanyarat Khamwong, middle blockers Thaddao Nuekjaeng, Wimolrat Thanaphan, and Kaewkallaya Kamulthala, along with outside and opposite hitters Pimpichaya Kokram, Atcharaporn Kongyot, Sasipaporn Chantavisut, Warisara Seethalert, Papatchaya Poltham, Kanthima Ekpachcha, and Nantnapat Mulchakham. Middle blocker "Bow" Kanyarat Khunmuang is set to rest for future matches.

Following the match against Serbia, the Thai team is scheduled to play against China on June 4th at 6:30 PM, Belgium on June 6th at 2:00 PM, and the Czech Republic on June 7th at 10:30 AM.
