The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is entering its 50th year by organizing the 'Thailand Focus 2024: Adapting to a Changing World' event to emphasize the readiness and potential of listed companies (LCs) and the Thai economy amid the challenges of a rapidly changing world. Mr. Phakorn Peetathawatchai, Director and Managing Director of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, revealed that Thailand Focus is an annual flagship event organized to connect investment opportunities in Thailand for institutional investors worldwide. This year is the 18th event under the concept of 'Adapting to a Changing World' with executives from the government sector, business sector, money market, and capital market providing information to build confidence for foreign institutional investors. This year, more than 113 listed companies will present business operations information to institutional investors during August 28-30, 2024 at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok. This event showcases the readiness and potential of the private sector, capital market, and Thai economy, despite facing challenges from the rapidly changing global situation. This event will provide institutional investors with an opportunity to see the adaptation and advancement of the government sector, capital market sector, and Thai private sector, especially in business groups that have adapted to build on Thailand's strengths and seized opportunities from the new global context, whether it be digital innovation, investment relocation trends, or environmental awareness.
