However, Thailand's resilience shone through as they mounted a spirited comeback. Che Hanafi Mama scored in the 55th minute to reduce the deficit to 1-2. Pariphan Wongsa then emerged as the hero for Thailand, netting twice in quick succession in the 69th and 73rd minutes, sealing a memorable 3-2 victory for the Thai team.
