Thailand Sends Four Athletes to BMX Freestyle Asian Championships in China

Bangkok: The Extreme Sports Association of Thailand is dispatching four Thai athletes to participate in the BMX Freestyle Asian Championships in China. This event, scheduled from July 8-12, 2026, in Zigong, People's Republic of China, serves as crucial preparation for the upcoming Asian Games.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai team features prominent cyclists including Rungruang Phami and Saitharn Phetnum, who will compete in the Park category. These athletes are among the country's hopefuls for the Asian Games. In the Flatland category, Pakpoom Phusad and Chatchalerm Chaiwirotwit will represent Thailand. This championship is a key event in the region, offering Thai athletes the chance to test their skills against leading Asian competitors, gain valuable experience, and enhance their performance ahead of the pivotal Asian Games.
