Bangkok: The grand opening of the 'Colorful Thailand' festival will take place from September 2-6, 2026, at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 7-8. The Ministry of Culture has extended an invitation to the public to attend the National Cultural Festival 'Colors Creativity Thailand,' which promises an engaging cultural experience.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, the Minister of Culture, inaugurated the National Cultural Festival, "Colors of Thai." This event, now in its second year, will highlight the richness of Thai culture while promoting cultural tourism. It will serve as a platform for artists, entrepreneurs, communities, and cultural networks from throughout the country to display their works and products. The festival aims to create opportunities and generate income by developing cultural capital into the creative economy.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including tasting and shopping at over 60 restaurants, participating in free Thai cooking and dessert workshops, and watching performing arts such as Likay, Mor Lam, Luk Thung, Nang Yai, Khon, Nora, music, and contemporary performances. Concerts by famous artists will also be featured. Visitors can explore and purchase Thai fabrics, handicrafts, and cultural products from over 100 shops nationwide. The festival will also offer an immersive experience called 'The Colors of Thai Heritage, Faith, and Traditions.' This event provides a comprehensive experience of eating, traveling, seeing, trying, and learning, all under one roof.
