Pattaya: "Zack" Thanthap Suksamran and "Eve" Patcharin Cheepchanadej have emerged victorious in the men's and women's singles categories at the SINGHA Thailand Masters 2026 professional tennis tournament, held at Greta Sport Club in Pattaya, Chonburi province. The prestigious event featured a total prize pool of 1 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, Thanthap, who entered the tournament as the second seed, showcased his skills in the men's singles final by overcoming Siwanat Uityakul, the fifth seed, in straight sets 6-1, 6-3. Thanthap's commanding performance earned him a prize of 120,000 baht, along with an additional reward of 10,000 baht for his remarkable achievement of serving the highest number of aces, totaling 32.
In the women's singles category, Patcharin, also the second seed and a representative of the Thai national tennis team for the upcoming 2026 Asian Games, displayed resilience in her final match against the third seed, Pimmada Thongkam. Patcharin managed to turn the match in her favor, securing a 2-1 sets victory (4-6, 6-4, 7-6(3)) after an intense battle lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes.
This tournament marked the conclusion of the TATP Tour 2026 season, where both Thanthap and Patcharin have consistently excelled, jointly claiming three out of the five singles titles throughout the year.
