Recently, officials have been able to control the ammonia leak. The overall situation returned to normal. But the area around the factory still smells of ammonia gas. The factory therefore announced the closure for 1 day to repair the leaking system. And absolutely do not allow unrelated people to enter the factory. Hundreds of Myanmar migrant workers, both men and women, had to be evacuated from the factory last night. Still can't go back to the factory. by staying at the temporary shelter at Mae Toey Temple first until you are sure it is safe

Dozens of workers and villagers inhaled ammonia. Some of them had vomiting, dizziness, and some cases were so severe that they lost consciousness and had to be rushed to several hospitals in Hat Yai. Everyone is safe now.
