A mother posted that her 7-year-old daughter had disappeared from a school in the Sukhumvit area. In the end, the case took a turn! The police went to the condo and found the child talking and smiling happily. She had not disappeared anywhere, but was with her mother in the room. Last evening (October 17, 2014), a Facebook user posted that his 7-year-old daughter had disappeared from school in Sukhumvit Soi 31. The mother later deleted the post, citing negative comments. She initially gave information to the media, but the daughter has not been found yet. The Metropolitan Police Online Patrol Unit led by Commander Jor, Pol. Maj. Gen. Thiradej Thamsuthee, was informed of the incident and ordered the Metropolitan Police Investigation Unit to urgently track down the suspect, along with the Thong Lor Police Station Investigation Unit. Later, the Metropolitan Police Investigation Unit and the Thong Lor Police Investigation Unit tried to contact the mother of the child, but were unable to do so. Furthermore, an investigation with the Thong Lor Police Station investigators also found that no missing child report had been filed. As a result, the police have no information about the mother or the child. After that, they spread out to help find the child's mother's residence until they found a room on the 22nd floor of a condo on Ratchadaphisek Road. They asked for permission from the condo to go up and investigate until they found the child's mother in the room. They called the child's mother and tried to talk to her, but she refused to open the door. The officers negotiated for about an hour until around 9:30 p.m. The officers used the telephone method and found out that the child was in the room. They asked the child's mother to open the door and pushed her way into the room until they finally found the child. At some points, the mother's voice sounded dissatisfied that the police had broken into the room. Initially, the child was safe and cheerful, talking with police officers, Metropolitan Police detectives, and Thonglor Police Station. The mother and child were taken to Thonglor Police Station for further questioning. Source: Thai News Agency
