The Republic of Karabakh announces its own dissolution starting next year.

The leader of the Nagorno-Karabakh separatist government announced the dissolution of all government agencies. And this republic will no longer exist as of January 1, 2024.

Mr. Samvel Chakramyan, President of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh or the Republic of Artsakh which has not received international recognition, issued a declaration to dissolve all state institutions and all organizations affiliated with these institutions by January 1, 2024, after which the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh will no longer exist. Residents are asked to familiarize themselves with the conditions of integration proposed by the Azerbaijani government. and independently decide whether to continue living in this area or not. WHEREAS, Azerbaijan has guaranteed free, voluntary and unimpeded departure. The leader of the separatist group also revealed that The decision was made to dissolve the Republic because it gave priority to ensuring the physical safety and vital interests of the people of Artsakh.
