Bangkok: People from Bangkok and other provinces gathered to pay their respects to the royal urn of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. This morning, starting at 8:00 a.m., the Bureau of the Royal Household opened the Royal Urn for the public at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.
According to Thai News Agency, representatives from government agencies and the private sector, along with citizens from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Trang, Trat, and Tak provinces, traveled to honor the royal urn and commemorate Her Majesty’s grace. Attendees received a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, placed in front of the royal urn as a memento.
Officials from the Bureau of the Royal Household and various agencies, as well as volunteers, were along the route to provide assistance and advice. Medical units from different hospitals were also present to offer care to the public.
The public can pay their respects to the royal urn during four designated time slots: from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
