Football fans showered support on singer Tono Pakin Khamwilaisak when he announced on social media his resignation as president of Khon Kaen FC. He stated that he was taking responsibility for his previous failure to achieve his goal of leading the team to the Champions League round of Thai League 3 in order to compete for promotion to Thai League 2.

You all fought so hard and did so well. Don't lose your spirit just because of the results on the field, my friends, because you are professional football players.
