Tourists Flock to Pha Daeng Viewpoint for Sunset and Sea of Mist Experience.

Buriram: Late rainy season and early winter have seen an influx of tourists eager to experience the cool air and natural beauty at Pha Daeng viewpoint. Visitors are drawn to the stone terrace to watch the sunset and witness the sea of fog enveloping the Dong Yai-Banthat mountain range. According to Thai News Agency, residents of Buriram Province, along with visitors from other regions, are bringing their families to enjoy the cold weather and take in the natural sights. The Pha Daeng viewpoint, situated on the border between Tambon Thap Rat, Amphoe Ta Phraya in Sa Kaeo Province and Ban Nong Samet, Tambon Lam Nang Rong, Amphoe Non Din Daeng in Buriram Province, offers views of the Banthat mountain range and Dong Yai National Forest Reserve. The location has been attracting an average of 100 people daily during this transitional season. As temperatures drop further, a rise in tourist numbers is anticipated, especially since Ta Phraya National Park permits camping. Visitors can bring their own tents for a nomi nal fee or rent one from the park. The viewpoint has become a popular spot for nature enthusiasts who come not only for the scenic views but also to capture memories with photographs. With the approach of winter and the New Year, tourist numbers are expected to increase. The park provides affordable access, with entrance fees set at 20 baht per person, offering additional discounts for senior citizens.
