Krabi: A long-tail boat carrying tourists capsized off the coast of Laem Hang Nak, but all 12 passengers on board were safely rescued.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at approximately 11:15 AM within the Hat Nopparat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The event was promptly reported to Bok Khorani National Park, which dispatched officers to the scene to investigate and assist.
Upon arrival, officials discovered the long-tail boat named "Rak Andaman Tour" submerged in the water. After coordinating with those present, it was confirmed that a speedboat called "SAYANG TOUR" had successfully rescued all 12 individuals, including 10 tourists, 1 guide, and 1 captain. The rescued passengers were transported to Khlong Muang Beach.
Subsequently, officers from National Park Protection Unit 4, alongside rescue teams from the Nong Thale Subdistrict Administrative Organization and the Phitak Pracha Foundation, provided assistance and first aid. The injured were triaged and prepared for transfer to a hospital if necessary.
The Nopparat Thara Beach-Phi Phi Islands National Park continues to monitor the situation closely, coordinating with relevant agencies to further investigate the incident and ensure ongoing assistance.
