Bangkok: Crowds eagerly gathered to witness the opening of the "Baan Chaothai" model unit at the D:CODE SRI NAKARIN, marking the first day of public viewing. The event saw a vibrant turnout, with visitors expressing keen interest in the Thai-style housing project. Online registration for free reservations, requiring no down payment or installments during construction, is available at baan-chaothai.com until February 20th. Prices range from 1.89 to 3.78 million baht, with construction expected to conclude by the end of December 2028.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kiri Kanchanapas, Chairman of the BTS Group, visited the sales gallery of the 'Baan Chao Thai' project, the first under the D:CODE SRI NAKARIN initiative, aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life. He was accompanied by Dr. Mahatthana Ampornphisit, Managing Director of the Government Housing Bank (GHB), and other notable executives. Mr. Kiri highlighted the collaboration between BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited and GHB, emphasizing the project's goal to provide quality housing in prime locations at affordable prices, thus facilitating easier homeownership without the need for down payments during construction.
The "Thai People's Home" project is strategically located in two prime areas, offering significant benefits to residents. The D:CODE SRI NAKARIN project features an 8-story condominium with approximately 4,150 units, located near major transport links. Similarly, the D:CRAFT KHLONG LUANG project comprises around 7,500 units, emphasizing proximity to economic hubs and educational institutions.
Both projects offer diverse unit types, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments, all pre-furnished with essential items and appliances. The projects also provide various amenities, such as swimming pools and fitness centers, along with security features and ample parking facilities.
The development process involves obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities, with construction anticipated to begin in September 2026. The initiative aims to expand access to quality housing in Bangkok and beyond, with future plans for similar projects.
Registration for those interested in the project is open, with a streamlined process facilitated online by the Government Housing Bank. The registration does not guarantee a purchase but allows interested parties to explore financing options and other related procedures.
