Transnational Crime Boss Killed in U.S.-Venezuelan Military Operation

Bolivar: The top leader of the transnational organized crime syndicate, Tren de Aragua, has been killed in a joint U.S.-Venezuelan military operation ordered by U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to Thai News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. Southern Command had launched a swift and forceful airstrike on Guerrero's encampment in Bolivar state, southeastern Venezuela. The U.S. utilized fighter jets to directly destroy Guerrero's camp. President Trump released declassified aerial video of the explosion on his Truth Social platform. Meanwhile, Venezuela's Ministry of Communications confirmed that its forces had operated jointly with the U.S., stating that the mission relied on advanced technological support and close intelligence sharing between the two countries. Bolivar is a region heavily controlled by criminal groups, particularly those involved in illegal gold mining.

The Trent de Aragua cartel, led by Guerrero, expanded from a local Venezuelan prison mafia gang into a massive transnational organized crime syndicate with networks spanning North America, South America, and Europe. Guerrero controlled this global criminal network from prison for many years, transforming Venezuela's Tocor³n prison into a private fortress complete with a zoo, swimming pools, nightclubs, and casinos, before escaping in 2023.
