Uncle Yot Returns Home After Detention in Cambodia

Surin province: "Uncle Yot" tearfully opened up after gaining his freedom and returning to the embrace of his family at his home in Surin Province.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Yot Saynoi, or "Uncle Yot," 58 years old, revealed his feelings for the first time after being rescued and returning to Thailand. He stated that he was safely reunited with his family after facing detention in Cambodia. Uncle Yot recounted that during the incident, he was detained by Cambodian military officers, blindfolded, and taken to a detention facility, where he was later imprisoned in Cambodia. He said that he endured difficult times during his detention.

However, Uncle Yot expressed his gratitude to the Thai military officers and all related agencies for their full assistance, which ultimately enabled him to be released and return to Thailand.

"If I hadn't received help, I would have been imprisoned in Cambodia for many more years," Uncle Yot said, reflecting on his relief and joy at being reunited with his family. The incident remains a matter of public interest, while relevant agencies have yet to release further details about the official rescue process.
