Bangkok: The "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" project is set to launch from June 1st to September 30th, 2026, and participants need to be aware of the precise e-wallet top-up requirements to benefit fully from this initiative.
According to Thai News Agency, during the project's four-month duration, participants will need to add specific amounts to their Paotang digital wallets. Each day, participants can spend up to 333.33 baht with a government subsidy of 60%, equating to 200 baht. This means the public must top up 40%, or 133.33 baht, daily to reach the maximum spend.
Monthly, the project allows for a total spend of 1,667 baht, where the government covers 60% (1,000 baht) and the participant is responsible for the remaining 40% (667 baht). Therefore, to fully utilize the monthly allowance, participants must top up their G-Wallet with 667 baht.
Over the course of the entire project, participants can spend a total of 6,668 baht, with government support amounting to 4,000 baht. Consequently, participants need to top up 2,668 baht to access the full benefits.
The process is streamlined for ease of use: top-ups and expenditures are conducted via the G-Wallet in the Paotang app, mirroring the procedure of the previous Co-Pay program. The app calculates the co-payment ratio automatically, simplifying the transaction process. Purchases can be made at participating stores between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM, with delivery orders available from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily. Importantly, the allocated monthly amount must be spent within the month as balances do not roll over.
