Ayutthaya: A young man riding a motorcycle to pick up his girlfriend at the train station was hit and killed instantly. A woman was shocked after traveling by train from Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, to visit her boyfriend in Ayutthaya. While waiting, she noticed his condition was unusually long and called, but rescue workers answered the phone and delivered the tragic news that her boyfriend had been hit by a car and died.
According to Thai News Agency, this morning at around 3:00 AM, police at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Police Station received a report of a motorcycle being hit by an unknown vehicle, resulting in one fatality. The incident occurred on Rojana Road, inbound towards the city of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, in Khlong Suan Phlu Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Police and rescue workers rushed to the scene to investigate.
At the scene, the body of a deceased man, identified as Mr. Kiattisak, 23 years old, was found with severe injuries to his chest. Nearby, a red Honda Wave 110 motorcycle was found, completely wrecked both front and rear. A white helmet belonging to the deceased was also found on the road, broken in half. There were also long skid marks from a collision and blood stains on the sidewalk.
Rescue workers revealed that after receiving the report, they arrived at the scene and found the injured person in critical condition. They immediately provided first aid, but it is believed that excessive blood loss led to the death. During the operation, they received a phone call from the deceased's girlfriend, who informed them of the tragic news.
His girlfriend, who arrived at the scene, recounted that her boyfriend was riding his motorcycle to pick her up from Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, to Ayutthaya train station. However, after waiting for a long time and being unable to contact him, she became suspicious and tried to call him before learning that he had been involved in a fatal accident.
Initially, investigators photographed and collected evidence at the scene before sending the body for autopsy at the Forensic Science Institute in Pathum Thani Province. They are also urgently reviewing CCTV footage and tracking down the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident to bring the perpetrator to justice.
