Bangkok: "Anutin" insists he never thought of impersonating the institution after his name appeared in ISOC documents. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has firmly denied any intention of impersonating an institution following reports that his name appeared in a document from the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC). The document allegedly lists him as a person seeking benefits by impersonating an institution, which Anutin has categorically refuted, stating that such actions are unnecessary for his job duties.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin expressed his surprise upon hearing the news and mentioned that he has not yet seen the document in question. He plans to request a copy of it due to his role as the Deputy Director of ISOC. Anutin, who has been present at nearly every ISOC meeting save for the most recent one, emphasized that he had never encountered such allegations during his tenure. He also urged that these claims should not be linked to political motives.
Anutin affirmed his loyalty and commitment to the institution, stating that he has never considered making false claims. He stressed that there is no necessity in his duties to impersonate any institution and that his loyalty is ingrained in him. Anutin expressed deep reverence and gratitude for the kindness he has received from the institution and requested that the matter not become entangled with political issues.
