Anutin Visits Nong Bua Lamphu Province to Pay Respects to King Naresuan

Nong bua lamphu: Anutin Charnvirakul visited Nong Bua Lamphu to pay respects to King Naresuan, seeking good fortune before campaigning in two northeastern provinces. Villagers flocked to welcome him, shouting "Our beloved Prime Minister!"

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, along with his wife, Ms. Thanon Niramit, and Mr. Songsak Thongsri, a party leader, visited Nong Bua Lamphu and Nong Khai provinces to campaign for the party's parliamentary candidates. In Nong Bua Lamphu, the candidates were Mr. Suwat Montri (Constituency 1), Ms. Chayanun Pimkirti (Constituency 2), and Mr. Ananat Chintawan (Constituency 3). In Nong Khai, the candidates were Pol. Gen. Paisal Lueasomboon (Constituency 1), Ms. Jidapa Sunthornthanakul (Constituency 2), and Mr. Sakda Chantharasuwan (Constituency 3).

At the first stop, at 10:00 AM, Mr. Anutin traveled in a black Alphard van with a red license plate, P 2654 Bangkok, to pay respects at the King Naresuan Shrine in Mueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. He then met with the waiting crowd. Upon arrival, the people presented him with woven palm leaf hats and tied a traditional Thai scarf around his waist, commenting that he looked even more handsome in person than on television. Some even shouted, "Anutin Charnvirakul, our beloved Prime Minister!"

Mr. Anutin then paid respects at the Shrine of King Naresuan, stating that it was his first time visiting and that he was unaware that Nong Bua Lamphu Province had a shrine to King Naresuan the Great. He expressed his hope that the province would restore and preserve it. In addition, Mr. Anutin visited the Red Cross booth at the Nong Bua Lamphu Red Cross Charity Fair, which is being held from January 18-27, 2026.

The Shrine of King Naresuan the Great in Nong Bua Lamphu Province is a sacred place, revered by locals and tourists alike, who come to pray for blessings, especially success and unity.

Mr. Anutin and his team then traveled to the sugar factory to meet with villagers and sugarcane farmers before giving a speech at 5:00 PM at the Lanna Kha Berikfa Phase 2 venue on the banks of the Mekong River in Phon Phisai Municipality, Phon Phisai District, Nong Khai Province. Following this, they campaigned at the evening market near the Mekong River, encompassing Lanna Kha Berikfa Phases 2, 3, and 4.
