Bangkok: A 32-year-old woman, identified as Ms. Nicha, was apprehended by authorities for selling e-cigarettes, reportedly earning a profit of 1 million baht per month from her illegal activities. She has been under scrutiny for approximately four years and was charged with four counts before being taken to Chokchai Police Station for further legal procedures.
According to Thai News Agency, the arrest was conducted by the Child and Women Safety Police, Task Force 2, who searched a building located in Soi Lat Phrao 87, Intersection 19, within the Khlong Chao Khun Singh Subdistrict, Wang Thonglang District. The operation extended to a shop on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok, where Ms. Nicha was detained along with 59 items of evidence, including e-cigarettes, cannabis pods, cannabis jelly, chocolate mushrooms, and a firearm with ammunition.
The suspect admitted that all confiscated items belonged to her. She revealed that her sales were conducted through her website, Facebook, Instagram, and a physical shop in the Ratchada area. Her confession detailed a business operation that spanned four years, yielding a significant monthly profit. Following her arrest, Ms. Nicha faces legal proceedings at the Chokchai Police Station.
