Attorney James Raises Concerns Over Unusual Inquiry About Natpong’s Will

Bangkok: Attorney James has revealed that an individual claiming to be close to the late Natpong reached out with questions regarding his will, ahead of the unfolding cyanide scandal.

According to Thai News Agency, Nitithon Kaewto, known as Attorney James, detailed the peculiar circumstances surrounding a call he received shortly after Natpong’s passing. The caller, allegedly a close friend of Natpong, questioned whether Attorney James was in possession of Natpong’s will. Despite being named as a trusted custodian by the caller, Attorney James clarified that he was not responsible for the will and had not been consulted by Natpong about it.

On the following day, another inquiry came from a young man affiliated with Natpong’s team, who also claimed to be a close friend. This individual sought information about the will, as well. Attorney James refused to divulge any details, citing the man’s lack of relation to Natpong. The attorney noted that neither of the callers was present at the house during the incident, although the young man had collaborated with Natpong on his last case.

From a legal standpoint, Attorney James acknowledged the complexity of the situation, which could be interpreted as murder, suicide, or negligence. He emphasized the necessity of the investigation’s results to ascertain the motive, if any, behind the incident. Consideration must be given to the events of that day, including potential conflicts that could have escalated to severe consequences.
