Bangkok: Supajee Suthamphan, campaign assistant for the Bhumjaithai Party, led a delegation of party leaders to Chokchai 4 Market to solicit votes for Mr. Pradermchai Boonchuaylue, the party's candidate for the Huai Khwang-Wang Thonglang district in Bangkok. The team, comprising Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, and Mr. Kriangyos Sudlapa, interacted with vendors and the public, urging support for Mr. Pradermchai's candidacy.
According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at the market was lively, with many people expressing their support by taking photos with the party leaders and seeking autographs from Ms. Supajee. They voiced encouragement for Ms. Supajee to continue her work, particularly on the "Half-Price Plus" project, which has been beneficial for vendors, increasing their income significantly. Many expressed their readiness to support the Bhumjaithai Party by voting for number 37 in the upcoming election.
During the campaign, note papers were distributed for citizens to write down their wishes or issues to be conveyed to the Prime Minister or any minister. These will be collected and passed on to the public in a heart box.
Ms. Supajee, in an interview, emphasized her commitment to continue the "Half-Price Plus" Phase 2 project to stimulate the economy and support communities if she retains her position. She also plans to update the State Welfare Card, allowing its use in general stores and those participating in the "Half-Price Plus" project, thus providing more purchasing options.
Ms. Supajee highlighted the Bhumjaithai Party's focus on upskilling vendors as part of their policy, with online sales being a potential avenue to boost the market.
Ms. Suphamas Isarabhakdi, the Bhumjaithai Party's campaign leader for Bangkok, praised the party's reception and leadership under Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. She expressed confidence in the party's chances in Bangkok, supported by respected figures like Ms. Supajee, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas, and Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, who are committed to improving the country.
Ms. Sabida Thaiseth added that the campaign's final stages are fostering a more organic connection with the public, encouraging them to give the Bhumjaithai Party a chance.
