Pei Panwad Visits Bangkok City Pillar Shrine for New Year Blessings

Bangkok: Actress Pei Panwad took her sons, Prod and Palin, to pay respects at the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine for good fortune in the new year.

According to Thai News Agency, starting the year off with auspicious blessings, actress Peuy Panwad recently took her son and daughter, Nong Prod and Nong Palin, along with close friends, to make merit at the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine. They brought offerings to honor the deities, seeking good fortune for the new year. The visit included prayers at the Buddha image hall, veneration of the replica and original City Pillar, paying homage to the five guardian deities, and performing rituals to ward off bad luck.

Pei shared photos on her Instagram account @ppanward, featuring herself, her children, and friends at the shrine, captioning it "Every year". The Bangkok City Pillar Shrine is a sacred site and symbol of stability for Bangkok, believed to be inhabited by five guardian deities. It is a popular place for people to pray for career success, stability, health, and protection from danger.
