“Big Joke” files lawsuit against PM for violating Section 157 in the case of improper appointment of Police Chief

Big Joke' submits a complaint to the NACC against the 'Prime Minister' for violating Section 157 in the case of the improper appointment of the National Police Chief, insisting that he did not challenge the fight, but was acting to protect rights and build a foundation for the organization. Pol. Gen. Surachet Hakpal traveled to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) with a file of evidence to file charges against the Prime Minister regarding the improper appointment of the national police chief, along with details of the money laundering case that the investigation officer at Tao Poon Police Station had filed a lawsuit against. Pol. Gen. Surachet said that he had previously filed an accusation against the Prime Minister on April 22, 2024, before withdrawing the case on April 23, because he knew that Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth Temiyaves, the former national police chief, had already filed the accusation, but later learned that he had withdrawn it as well. In this accusation against the Prime Minister, he included his name as a witness and a victim. The latest appointment of the national police chief was an improper appointment because according to the rules, the most senior person must be appointed and someone with the knowledge and ability to investigate, interrogate, and suppress. However, in this appointment of the national police chief, there was talk that the appointment was made in accordance with government policy. If this is the case, there should not be a Police Act. As for whether the filing of a lawsuit against the Prime Minister will cut off the opportunity to return to the Royal Thai Police Office, Pol. Gen. Surachet stated that he did not challenge and never had any personal problems, but when he did something wrong, he had to proceed according to the procedure. He confirmed that this time he would definitely not withdraw the lawsuit. As for the order to sign to dismiss him from government service, legal action will be taken because it caused severe damage to the point of having to be dismissed from government service first. Pol. Gen. Surachet insisted that he did not do it to become the national police chief because his current status is that of a 'ghost child', but to protect the rights and strengthen the police organization in the future. If he had been ranked number 1 in seniority, the problem of fighting for positions would not have arisen and caused chaos like today. Source: Thai News Agency
