Boom Panadda Issues Apology and Pledges Asset Recovery Efforts

Bangkok:Boom Panadda has publicly apologized for her decision to donate to the "Doing Good" foundation, admitting that she misplaced her trust in someone close to her. She expressed her determination to reclaim the assets, indicating that she is willing to sell personal property if necessary. Her lawyer, Petch, has advised her to refrain from answering media questions, warning that he would withdraw his representation if she does not comply.

According to Thai News Agency, Boom Panadda, also known as Ms. Panadda Wongphudee, met with investigators at the Crime Suppression Division to provide a statement and file a complaint, a process that took nearly an hour. Accompanied by her lawyer, she briefly addressed the media, apologizing for the incident and acknowledging her error in trusting someone she considered very close, which led to the current predicament.

Boom Panadda emphasized that the purpose of her police report is to pursue legal action against those involved and recover assets for the Tham Dee Foundation. She assured that she is willing to take full responsibility for the situation, even if it requires using her personal assets to rectify any mistakes and ensure proper procedures are followed.

She declared her commitment to resolving the issue and proving the facts, with the aim of restoring the foundation's management and assets to their rightful state. Her actions today, she noted, underscore her sincerity and commitment to cooperating with the legal process, as well as her intention to fight to prove her innocence regarding all suspicions.

Following her media statement, Boom Panadda concluded her remarks, noting that further comments would result in admonishment from her lawyer. Her lawyer, Attorney Petch, reiterated this stance by advising reporters against asking additional questions, as doing so would lead to him discontinuing his role as her personal lawyer.
