Songkhla: Chanonpat Naksua, a Member of Parliament from the Kla Tham Party in Songkhla, has publicly announced his willingness to engage with the justice process as issues surrounding his conduct have come to light. In a statement released on his Facebook page, Naksua emphasized his commitment to transparency and the rule of law. He declared his readiness to undergo investigation by the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) and other relevant authorities to ensure that all facts are fully disclosed.
According to Thai News Agency, Naksua addressed concerns about his absence from a committee meeting, clarifying that he did not intend to evade the investigation. He stated that he recognizes only the judicial process as legally binding and has consistently cooperated with all relevant agencies. Naksua reaffirmed his readiness to be thoroughly investigated and expressed his determination to retire from politics immediately if found guilty, asserting that public servants must accept all outcomes of such investigations.
Naksua expressed confidence in the evidence he possesses to prove his innocence.
