Cheerio Admits Impersonating Tokyogurl in SEA Games Scandal

Bangkok: "Cheerio" has confessed to impersonating "Tokyogurl" during the RoV competition at the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, expressing remorse and offering a public apology for the misconduct.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai women's esports team had to withdraw from the 33rd SEA Games after a player was found violating the rules by utilizing an unauthorized program. This led to "Kong," known in the esports community as Cheerio, revealing on his personal TikTok account that he had impersonated Tokyogurl. In his message, Cheerio stated, "I admit that I did it, as reported in the news. I have had time to reflect and feel remorse for my actions, and I sincerely apologize to the public." He extended his apologies to everyone who was affected by his actions.
