Thanyaburi:Pathum Thani The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), in a coordinated effort with local authorities, conducted a raid on the "Doing Good Foundation" in Khlong 8, Thanyaburi District. The operation involved cutting the lock on the foundation's fence with giant pliers to access the donation storage and shrine construction site.
According to Thai News Agency, the raid took place at 700 AM, with the CIB collaborating with the Deputy District Chief of Thanyaburi, administrative officials, and Thanyaburi Police Station officers. The operation targeted the "Doing Good" Foundation, established by Dr. Panadda Wongphude, situated in the Lam Phak Kut Subdistrict. The area was undergoing construction for a shrine.
Upon arrival, the authorities found the entrance locked with a padlock, which they cut using large bolt cutters to enter the premises. The operation was closely observed by lawyers representing the foundation, while numerous media outlets covered the event from outside. Once inside, officials conducted a thorough search of the building, focusing on the main hall where donations were stored. They discovered stacks of cardboard boxes filled with consumer goods, products, and donated items. The officials meticulously inspected, sorted, and documented these items, compiling evidence for the investigation. Reporters were restricted to photographing the exterior of the site.
Petch's legal team noted that while officials gained access to the building containing donated goods, two other buildings remained locked. Efforts are underway to coordinate with Dr. Panadda Wongphudee to obtain keys for further inspection. Initial findings revealed small quantities of rice and dried food intended for donation. An acrylic box, suspected to be used for money storage, has not yet been located. Authorities continue their detailed examination of the building and its contents to collect pertinent evidence.
