Commander of 2nd Army Area Awards Yutthabodin Medal at Solemn Ceremony

Bangkok: The Commander of the 2nd Army Region presided over a religious ceremony at Prasat Khana and presented the 2nd Army Region's "Hanuman Unleashing His Power, Rich Rich Billionaire" commemorative medal to the troops. The ceremony took place in the Kab Choeng District and was marked by a solemn atmosphere. Lieutenant General Veerayuth Rakasilp led the event, which included a merit-making ritual to honor soldiers who have perished in the line of duty. The gathering saw participation from a significant number of soldiers, government officials, local residents, and community members.

According to Thai News Agency, before making his way to Ta Kwai Castle in Phanom Dong Rak District, Surin Province, the Commander presented the "Yutthabodhin-Century Medal" of the "Hanuman Unleashing His Power, Rich Rich Billionaire" edition. This was given to unit commanders to boost the morale of troops committed to defending the nation's sovereignty. The medals are considered sacred amulets, crafted with spiritual significance by a dedicated committee.

Over 108 revered monks from across the country took part in the consecration ceremony, with Luang Pu Sila Sirichantho and Phra Ajarn Tom Papassaro inscribing sacred symbols on the amulets. The symbols, including the Buddha's Crown Yantra and the Divine Mantra, signify protection, safety, and prosperity. The materials were consecrated at Wat Suan Tham Piti in Kalasin Province and Wat Tha Sabaeng in Roi Et Province. Luang Pu Sila named the series "Hanuman Unleashes His Power, Rich Rich Billionaire," symbolizing courage, victory, and the attainment of wealth and prosperity.
