Deadline Approaches for State Welfare Registration Confirmation

Bangkok: The Treasury Department reminds citizens that tomorrow marks the final opportunity to confirm eligibility for state welfare benefits, with the deadline set for 11 PM. Results for both current beneficiaries and those previously missed will be announced on July 17. Officials urge individuals not to wait until the last minute to confirm their eligibility.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry of Finance has emphasized the importance for existing State Welfare Card holders to register and confirm their eligibility for the 2026 State Welfare Registration Project. Registration remains open until June 21, 2026, at 11:00 PM. Cardholders are encouraged to use the designated registration channels promptly to avoid last-minute issues.

From June 4 to June 18, 2026, a total of 12,443,310 existing State Welfare Card holders have successfully registered. However, 730,663 holders have yet to confirm their eligibility. The Ministry urges these individuals to complete their registration by the June 21 deadline, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

For those without a state welfare card who were previously overlooked in the Ministry of Interior's data verification, 1,043,412 individuals have now been registered, representing 99.61% of the verified database. The Ministry of Interior will forward this information to the Ministry of Finance for final eligibility verification.

The Ministry of Finance plans to announce the results of eligibility verification on July 17, 2026. This will be done via the project website, the Paotang application, government applications, and registration units at five banks, providing multiple avenues for registrants to check their status.
