Dr. Mallika Boonmeetrakul Mahasuk Unveils Transformational Education Strategy in Bangkok

Bangkok: "Mallika," contestant number 14, is sparking a trend of learning to generate income, empowering Bangkok kids to become 'creators and online sellers'. Dr. Mallika promotes the "Study While Working" strategy to empower 400 Bangkok schools to generate real income using AI and digital technologies.

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Mallika Boonmeetrakul Mahasuk, candidate for Bangkok Governor number 14, visited teachers, students, and parents at Don Mueang Air Force School in Don Mueang District. She announced her education and lifelong learning strategy, aiming to elevate the school beyond just a place to learn, transforming it into a space for skills development, income generation, and future careers for Bangkok's youth. Dr. Mallika stated that in today's rapidly changing world, children and youth should not wait until graduation to start working. Instead, they should have the opportunity to learn about income generation and careers while still in school, using digital technology as a key tool. "Bangkok children need to have the skills to support themselves while still studying, whether it's becoming a creator, producing content, selling online, affiliate marketing, using AI to build businesses, programming, graphic design, or working on various digital platforms. This will help them generate supplem entary income and gain real-world experience before entering university and the job market," she said.

Dr. Mallika's educational strategy will utilize over 400 schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration as a base for driving lifelong human development. This includes Smart School and AI Learning, which will integrate AI technology into teaching and learning to enhance digital skills, language skills, and analytical thinking, preparing students for the modern economy; and Creator School Bangkok, which will offer courses to train professional creators, online media producers, YouTubers, TikTokers, podcasters, and digital communicators.

Bangkok Affiliate Academy teaches online marketing, affiliate marketing, creating online stores, and using e-commerce platforms to generate income legitimately. AI Career Lab trains students in using AI for work, business creation, data analysis, and developing new innovations. Skill Up Bangkok promotes future career skills such as programming, digital marketing, graphic design, video editing, and online business. Lifelong Learning Center transforms schools into community learning centers, providing opportunities for people of all ages to learn after school and on weekends. School to Startup builds a collaborative network between schools, universities, businesses, and the private sector to foster new entrepreneurs. One Student One Skill ensures every student possesses at least one skill that can be developed into a career and generate real income.

Dr. Mallika stated that Bangkok must become a 'city of lifelong learning' that provides equal access to modern knowledge for children, youth, and people of all ages. She emphasized that if entrusted by the public, she will accelerate the development of all 400 Bangkok-affiliated schools into centers for human resource development, job creation, career development, and innovation, making Bangkok a truly city of opportunity for all. She added that other schools nationwide can use this model, as in the current technological era, nothing stands still, and children need to develop faster than in previous eras. 'Education is not just about passing exams, but must be a tool for building the future, creating careers, and improving the quality of life for all Bangkok residents,' Dr. Mallika concluded.
