Empowering the New Generation of English Teachers: Active Learning + CEFR + Gold Experience

Trang: The Thai education system is being questioned: How can we raise the quality of learners to meet international standards? Where should reform begin? What role must teachers play in the digital age? The Trang-Krabi Secondary Educational Service Area Office is organizing a training session titled “Designing Learning Based on Active Learning and CEFR Concepts with Gold Experience Media” and “Announcing a Plan to Transform the Learning Field,” aiming to empower English teachers to become designers of modern learning experiences that meet world-class standards.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chainarong Changruea, Director of the Trang-Krabi Secondary Education Service Area Office, spoke with a firm voice on stage: “Teachers must be designers, not lecturers. Today’s English teaching cannot be relied upon in the traditional sense. Active learning and the CEFR standards are crucial tools to truly empower our children on the global stage. The South has strengths in culture, tourism, and diversity. We should use English as a force to push youth potential beyond provincial or national boundaries. Learning is not just about exams, but about learning for ‘real-world use’ and ‘real-life transformation.'”
