Explosion in Northern Israel Injures Six Thai Workers

Tel aviv: Six Thai workers were injured in an explosion involving unexploded ordnance in northern Israel, with two in critical condition following surgery and currently recovering. The incident occurred in the Metula area, where the workers were performing their duties.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jaithai Upakarnnitikaset, Director-General of the Department of Information and spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported that the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv was informed of the incident. The injured workers are receiving medical treatment at Ziv Medical Center in Safed. While two workers sustained serious injuries and underwent surgery, they are now in recovery. The other four workers suffered minor injuries and are reported to be safe.

The Ambassador to Tel Aviv has visited the injured workers to offer care and assistance while monitoring their condition. The Embassy is coordinating with hospitals and relevant agencies to ensure the workers receive necessary compensation and support.
