Trang: Floodwaters are still high, with some areas over 2 meters high. In Trang Province, water levels remain elevated, particularly in the area behind the Wat Chaeng community in Muang Trang District, where water levels range from 1 to 2 meters. In some low-lying areas, floodwaters exceed 2 meters.
According to Thai News Agency, despite a cessation of rainfall for the past three days, the community continues to grapple with significant flooding due to its geographical position. The area is situated in a low-lying region adjacent to the Trang River and is affected by water that accumulates from multiple districts before making its way to the sea. As a result, over 300 villagers have sought refuge at Wat Chaeng, located approximately 100 meters from their community, and have been residing there for a week. Concerns are now growing among residents about the potential outbreak of water-borne diseases.
