Bangkok: The Greater Mekong Subregion, encompassing Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Yunnan Province, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is gaining significance in both economic and political spheres. As China increases its involvement in the subregion, it continues to capture global attention.
According to Thai News Agency, the “Looking at China from Many Angles” program offers an opportunity for Thais to explore China’s role and challenges within the Greater Mekong Subregion. The program features insights from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piti Srisangnam, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics at Chulalongkorn University, and is hosted by Watcharin Setthakudan. The initiative seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of China’s growing presence and influence in the area.
