Bangkok: The entertainment industry has suffered another blow as former leading actor Ray McDonald passed away suddenly.
According to Thai News Agency, Ray McDonald, 49, passed away at his home in a village on Soi Phatthanakan 61. CCTV footage revealed the former actor slumped on the sofa around midnight last night. His wife discovered him motionless this morning at 6:40 AM. The family initially stated that he had no pre-existing medical conditions, and a detailed autopsy is pending. Family and friends have already arrived at Ray McDonald's home. Further details will be released by the medical team and family.
Ray McDonald was born on May 21, 1977, in Roi Et Province, Thailand, and was of Thai-Scottish descent. He completed his secondary education in England and won the Suphanahong National Film Award for Best Actor in 1997-1998 for the film "Dreamy Karaoke." He also received the 7th Kom Chad Luek Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film "Escape with Galileo." McDonald continued to act in films, with his most recent appearance in "Friends, Lovers, and Secret Lovers."
Currently, McDonald had reunited with close friends Leo Putt and Tar Paopon Thephastin Na Ayutthaya to host a YouTube show called "PuttTarRayron" on the YouTube channel Rayron.
