Funeral Rites Held for Nonthaburi PAO Chairman Amidst Somber Gatherings

Nonthaburi: The funeral rites for the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization Chairman were held, with government officials and citizens joining in mourning. Government officials and citizens gathered to pay their respects and pour water over the body of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) chairman amidst a somber atmosphere. A former deputy chairman of the PAO stated that Pol. Col. Thongchai was an honest man with no history of financial misconduct, and his family was well-off. He believes the issue was definitely not related to money.

According to Thai News Agency, the family of rescue worker Pol. Col. Thongchai Yenprasert, President of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, brought his body to Wat Saphan Sung in Nonthaburi for funeral rites amidst a somber atmosphere. Many government officials from various agencies and members of the public attended to pay their respects and pour water over the body, filling the hall to capacity. The cremation ceremony is scheduled for August 19th.

Former Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Administrative Organization, Mr. Jamlong Khamsa, stated that Pol. Col. Thongchai was an honest person with no history of financial misconduct. His family was also well-off. He personally believed that money was definitely not the issue. He admitted feeling saddened because both parties were like younger siblings to him.
