Bangkok:PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) and SCG Chemical Public Company Limited (SCGC) have announced a landmark collaboration. The two companies plan to merge their olefins and polyolefins businesses in Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, this strategic partnership aims to transform Thailand into a regional hub for the petrochemical industry. The collaboration is expected to propel Thailand into the ranks of the world's top 10 polyolefin producers.
By combining their resources and expertise, GC and SCGC are set to strengthen their positions in the global market, enhancing the capabilities and competitiveness of Thailand's petrochemical sector.
