Bangkok:The Department of Highways reports disruptions affecting the highway network across 19 provinces, with a total of 156 locations impacted. Currently, 117 of these locations are passable, while 39 remain impassable.
According to Thai News Agency, the 39 impassable points are located in 11 provinces: Prachinburi (16 locations), Bangkok (4 locations), Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya (4 locations), Chachoengsao (4 locations), Rayong (3 locations), Nakhon Sawan (2 locations), Saraburi (2 locations), and one location each in Sa Kaeo, Nonthaburi, Chanthaburi, and Kanchanaburi.
In contrast, areas in Kamphaeng Phet, Chai Nat, Nakhon Nayok, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Suphan Buri, Ang Thong, and Chonburi have reported all affected areas as passable. The Department of Highways has deployed personnel and equipment to these regions to monitor water levels and road conditions. Efforts are underway to expedite repairs and facilitate public travel. Travelers are advised to plan their journeys carefully, check current road conditions, and adhere to any instructions from officials, as the situation may change.
