Hat yai: Rescue workers from the Hook 31 Foundation in Nakhon Ratchasima have successfully distributed relief supplies from the residents of Korat to the flood-impacted villagers in the Saphan Dam community located in the Hat Yai District of Songkhla Province.
According to Thai News Agency, the rescue team from the Hook 31 Foundation conducted a survey of the Saphan Dam community in Khlong Hae Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, after floodwaters had receded. As the situation returned to normal, residents began returning to their homes to commence cleaning efforts. The aftermath of the flood has left homes and shops damaged, with garbage accumulating along the roads awaiting removal.
The relief efforts included the distribution of essential items donated by Korat residents, focusing on critical supplies such as baby formula. This distribution marked the completion of the mission for the rescue workers, who had traveled from Nakhon Ratchasima Province on November 24th to support the flood-affected community in Hat Yai District.
