Israeli Ambassador Visits Families of Thai Workers Killed in Middle East Conflicts

Chaiyaphum: The Israeli ambassador visited the families of Thai workers who died in the Middle East conflict. The Israeli Ambassador and his delegation visited northeastern Thailand to meet with the families of Thai workers who died in the wars in the Middle East.

According to Thai News Agency, on June 8, Ms. Alona Fischer-Kamm, Ambassador of Israel to Thailand, and a delegation from the Israeli Embassy visited Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima provinces to meet with the families of three Thai workers who died in conflicts in the Middle East between 2023 and 2026. The Ambassador and her delegation were warmly welcomed by the provincial governors and senior officials.

In Chaiyaphum province, the Israeli Ambassador met with the families of Chaiwat Waewnil, 30, who died in an Iranian cluster bomb attack at the Adamim agricultural settlement in central Israel in March 2026, and Anan Phetkaew, 39, who died in a Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023, near the Gaza Strip.

In Nakhon Ratchasima province, the delegation visited the family of Mr. Nisant Meeram, 42, who died in an explosion at Kibbutz Yiran, near the Lebanese border in northern Israel, in October 2024.
