Bangkok: The MCOT board has announced the appointment of Jesada Pongthanathanawat as the Acting President and CEO of the company. This decision was made during the 16th meeting of the Board of Directors of MCOT Public Company Limited held on September 1, 2026. Mr. Pongthanathanawat, who is a director of the company, will be taking over from Dr. Yada Kasayapanan, following her resignation from the position.
According to Thai News Agency, the appointment is effective immediately from September 1, 2026. The committee has expressed confidence in Mr. Pongthanathanawat's vision and expertise in various domains such as organizational management, business administration, human resource management, and strategic planning. These skills are considered vital for steering MCOT through the challenges posed by the rapidly changing consumer behavior in the current environment.
