Bangkok: Prachuap Khiri Khan "Kanj Bannabodee from Chonburi and Christina Natalia Yoko from Indonesia are tied for the lead with a total score of 6 under par 138 after the second round of the 'Singha-SAT Ladies Championship,' a professional women's golf tournament with a prize pool of 1.5 million baht, held at The Majestic Creek Country Club and Resort in Prachuap Khiri Khan.
According to Thai News Agency, Kanj shot a 3-under-par 69, while Yoko battled it out with a 5-under-par 67 without a bogey, moving into a tie for the lead before the final round.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old Thanatchaporn Inthasang, a member of the national youth team, had the hottest performance of the day with a score of 6 under par 66, moving up to a tie for 3rd place with a total score of 3 under par 141, just 3 strokes behind the leader.
First-round leader, Pro Book-Thanaporn Palitwanon, shot 2 over par 74, for a total score of 2 under par 142, placing her in a tie for 7th. A total of 62 golfers qualified for the final round.
