London: London's famous Kew Gardens is sparkling with a nighttime light show as part of its Christmas celebrations. Kew Gardens is the Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew), the largest UNESCO World Heritage Site in London. It is a vast public garden with a vast collection of plant species from around the world. In addition to being a beautiful tourist attraction, it is also an international center for botanical research.
According to Thai News Agency, the display includes a light show on the "Temperate House" glasshouse, a variety of light art installations, a dance floor, and a light orchestra that illuminates the garden's nighttime landscape. Adam Thow, head of events at Kew Gardens, said visitors could experience eight extraordinary light art installations never seen anywhere else in the world. He described the installations as ranging from "thoughtful moments" to "fun and vibrant moments".
He said Christmas at Kew, now in its 13th year, was started as a way to attract people to the gardens during the quietest time of year. He said what used to be the quietest time of year at Kew is now its busiest, with more than 300,000 people expected to watch the stunning display over the next 49 nights.
