Lotus Heaven Field Opens for Tourists at Sai Thong National Park

Chaiyaphum: Get ready to experience the beauty of "Lotus Heaven Field" at Sai Thong National Park, Chaiyaphum Province on July 1st. The national park is officially opening its "Sub Mongkol Gate" to tourists, inviting everyone to witness the Siam Tulip, or Curcuma alismatifolia, as it blooms. Visitors can enjoy the sight of pinkish-purple blossoms throughout the forest, embracing the refreshing rainy season.

According to Thai News Agency, the park has prepared two different routes to cater to different types of travelers. For those seeking a relaxed experience, the "Dan Sap Mongkol" route allows visitors to drive directly to the Thung Bua Sawan 1 area. This route is ideal for families, the elderly, or those wishing to capture picturesque moments without exerting much effort.

For adventure seekers, the park offers a hiking trail starting at Pha Pho Mueang campsite. The trail leads to Thung Bua Sawan 1, covering approximately 5 kilometers round trip. Along the way, hikers can enjoy views of famous cliff faces, including Pha Pho Mueang, Pha Ham Hod, Pha Hak Kor, Pha Plearnjai, and Sunset Cliff.
